Applications are due Friday, May 15, 2026 at 5 pm.
Applications are accepted by invitation only – invitations have been extended to qualifying communities who submitted a “statement of interest” in early 2026. Applications will be reviewed by Keep Iowa Beautiful and 1 will be selected to join Hometown Pride.
To complete your application, please submit the following 2 forms by the deadline:
- Hometown Pride Application – One submission per group/region
- Supplementary Information – Multiple submissions per group/region – each participating town must complete this form.
Important – please read:
- Form 1 and Form 2 above (“Hometown Pride Application” and “Supplementary Information”) can not be completed by the same individual. Each town should have its own local representative fill out form 2.
- Click here to download a template of the city council resolution, a required part of the application. You must use this template for all city council resolutions included in the application.
