Economics of Litter Study, 2014
The purpose of this study is to update the 2002 cost estimates to 2012 by surveying the same public sectors in Iowa. Roadside Litter Characterization, 2013
This study provides details of a statewide litter survey to better understand and obtain objective information about roadside litter. Data was collected, characterized, and compared to litter found in 2001 and 2013 at 15 selected sites across the state using a similar site selection methodology that was used in 2001. Collected litter was sorted into categories as outlined in the classification methodology, counted, and weighed.
